Mobile Phone / Device Guideline.
The Department of Education does not permit student use of mobile phones in public schools unless for medical or teacher directed educational purpose.
The guideline aims to reduce distractions in class and improve student engagement.
If your child needs to contact you, they can do so through the school administration. Likewise, if you need to get a message to your child, you can call the school.
Dress Code & Uniform Guideline.
The purpose of this Dress Code Guideline is to outline the expectations for student dress and presentation (hair, earrings and those forms of jewellery that extend beyond traditional ear piercings, studs, facial jewellery, nail polish, necklaces and other pierced or adorned jewellery) at Butler Primary School in accordance with the Dress Codes for Students in Public Schools Policy and its Procedures. The dress code aims to:
- promote a sense of identity and pride in the school
- support student safety and comfort
- ensure equity and inclusivity
- maintain standards that reflect community expectations
- support positive behaviour, engagement, and learning.
