Kindy Enrolment
Welcome to Butler Primary School. We are an independent local intake school and accept students from Kindergarten to year 6 residing within our boundary. For detailed information on our intake boundary please click here. Outside of boundary applications will be considered and are subject to approval of the Principal. Kindergarten Application for 2024
Applications for Kindergarten in 2024 are now open for children turning 4 years old by 30 June 2024. Butler Primary School also offers a Pre Kindy Playgroup for eligible children in the year before they are due to start Kindergarten. For more information on the Pre Kindy Playgroup please click here.
To apply for a place in Kindergarten at Butler Primary School please complete an Application Form available via download or from the School Office.
The following documents will need to be sighted when submitting the enrolment form:
- Proof of Residence (e.g. Utility bill, Council rates, Rental agreement)
- Birth Certificate
- Immunisation History Satement*
- Visa documentation and Passport if applicable
- Family Court orders to be made available if applicable
*As of 22 July 2019 only the Australian Immunisation Register Immunisation History Statement is accepted as proof of Immunisation, and not to be older than 2 months at the time of application. For information on how to access this dociment please click here.
Contributions and Charges Schedule
For your information we invite you to refer to our current Contributions and Charges schedule. Our voluntary contribution is currently set at $40 and greatly assists the school in providing additional resources to aid and improve the quality of programs taught. Contributions that families are able to provide to the school are incredibly valuable and as such we offer flexible payment plans. For more information please contact the office staff.
In addition to voluntary contributions, there is a compulsory charge for Reading Eggs for students in Kindy to year 3. For students in years 4 to 6 there is a compulsory charge for Literacy Pro. There is also a P&C levy of $10 per student. There will also be a range of incursions and excursions throughout the year that students may participate in, please refer to the following schedule regarding maximum costs involved:
